Behind Aayutra

"They chased fast trends. We chose slow rituals. Aayutra — born from the soil, carried with soul."

Where Style Meets Sustainability

Aayutra started with a vision — to make fashion that's kind to both people and the planet. We began our journey in 2024, with one simple question: Can we make beautiful clothes without harming the earth? The answer came through eco-printing — a natural process that uses leaves, flowers, and earthy elements to create patterns on fabric. It needs no chemicals, uses very little water, and brings nature's own beauty to life.We work with natural fabrics like cotton, bamboo, and hemp, and use plant-based dyes to keep everything as close to the earth as possible. Every piece is made slowly, consciously, and with purpose — honoring age-old methods and modern design.Today, Aayutra stands for mindful fashion — where style meets sustainability. Every garment we make carries a bit of nature, a lot of care, and a story worth wearing.

VISIONARY

The Roots of Aayutra

Ayushi Samdani's deep-rooted passion for fashion began at home, growing up amidst fabric rolls, stitching units, and the artistic flair of her parents. With her mother running a boutique and her father managing a garment unit, Ayushi was naturally drawn to the world of textiles and design from a young age.

After completing her graduation in BBA and later pursuing an MBA in Marketing from NMIMS, Mumbai, Ayushi strengthened her foundation with a formal education in Fashion Design from SASMIRA College, Mumbai. Her interest in eco-conscious design deepened through her exposure to traditional crafts and sustainable practices during her early years as a fashion educator and illustrator.

In 2024, Ayushi launched Aayutra — a sustainable fashion brand born from her desire to blend artistry, ethical craftsmanship, and environmental mindfulness. She set out to create clothing that celebrates nature without compromising on style or comfort.

With a strong focus on natural fabrics, plant-based dyes, and eco-printing techniques, Ayushi began shaping Aayutra into a label that champions slow fashion. Her hands-on approach, creative instincts, and years of experience led her to build a brand that is both design-driven and deeply sustainable.

Today, Ayushi leads Aayutra with a clear vision — to offer meaningful fashion that is rooted in Indian craftsmanship and aligned with global sustainability. Her role spans across design, brand development, storytelling, and curating collections that reflect the soul of nature and the strength of mindful living.

Aayutra continues to build Aayutra not just as a label, but as a movement — inspiring conscious choices and celebrating the harmony between people, craft, and the planet.

Buttons

Buttons

At Aayutra, every button tells a story of sustainability. We craft our wood-based buttons in-house—designed in custom shapes like triangles, oversized pieces for blazers, and minimal styles for shirts and dresses. Each one is made with care, without plastic, supporting our commitment to 100% plastic-free garments. These natural buttons aren’t just functional—they’re part of the design language, rooted in nature and shaped by intention.

Packaging

Packaging

At Aayutra, we believe packaging should be as thoughtful as the garment itself. Our pieces are wrapped in recycled cotton bags, designed in a rectangular shape to comfortably fit blazers, shirts, and dresses. Each bag features textured cotton straps and is detailed with our Aayutra logo hand-stitched in Katha, making every piece feel personal and purposeful.

Completely plastic-free and reusable, these bags are more than just packaging—they’re multipurpose companions that align with our vision of a cleaner, more conscious future. No waste. No harm. Just mindful design, all the way through.
